Frequently Asked Questions

Always use the JibColis chat to communicate with the traveler: ask them for photos before purchase (traditional mode) or at the pickup point (online mode). This allows you to validate the product before delivery.
Provide all the necessary information through the ad form: a clear and precise title, the type of product to transport, the product price, approximate size and weight, desired delivery city, delivery deadlines... In case of a request for handling and before any validation, feel free to chat with your counterpart via the in-app messaging system.
You can publish two types of ads:

  • “Online Store” mode: you buy a product on the internet and insert the product page URL. The traveler only has to transport it.
  • “Traditional” mode: you target a product found in a market or physical shop. You can specify if you have already purchased it (delivery only) or if you want the traveler to buy it for you before transporting it.
In summary: you are free to publish an ad for any product authorized for transport, whether it comes from an e-commerce site or a traditional souk.
In this mode, two options are available to you:

  • You buy the product yourself and the traveler only handles the transport.
  • You ask the traveler to buy the product for you before delivering it.
Everything is specified in the ad, so that everyone knows exactly their role before accepting the mission.
Traditional mode allows users to buy a handcrafted product without going through online shopping.
Each mission is fully tracked in the app, and a deposit is frozen to secure the operation until delivery. This ensures the transporter has no interest in misusing or withholding a parcel.
We trust our community first and foremost. However, for extra peace of mind, an identity verification system is available to obtain a “verified profile” badge. While optional, it builds reassurance, and we recommend prioritizing verified users.
All payments are processed securely through JibColis. Once the parcel is delivered, the sender provides a confirmation code to the traveler. Entering this code in the app automatically triggers the payment.
Because JibColis acts as both intermediary and guarantor. Commissions are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Hand-to-hand payments would leave you with no guarantee in case of dispute.
No strict limit. It depends on the traveler’s ability to transport the parcel. To avoid issues, we recommend confirming details directly with the traveler via chat.
Yes, you can split one order into several ads. This increases your chances of getting your parcels delivered quickly and efficiently.
A commission is charged on each transaction. It covers service costs, secures payments, and ensures smooth operations. A clear summary of fees is displayed before validation.

JibColis only accepts euros! Don’t have a euro bank account? No problem! You can open an online account with Wise or Revolut.
Traveler: To receive payments as a transporter, you must add a bank account (RIB) in “Profile: My payment methods”. Poster: To publish an ad and receive your parcel, a credit card is required.

What parcels can I transport?

Here is the list of prohibited items not accepted by airlines or shipping companies:

  • Dangerous / flammable products
    • Gasoline, fuels, heating oil, kerosene
    • Gas bottles, oxygen cylinders
    • Matches, refillable lighters with gas
    • Chemicals, solvents, flammable paints
    • Aerosols (except authorized medical or cosmetic use in cabin)
  • Explosives and weapons
    • Firecrackers, fireworks, ammunition, distress flares
    • Firearms, bladed weapons (unless authorized and declared)
    • Weapon replicas and similar objects
  • Toxic / radioactive products
    • Radioactive materials
    • Corrosive substances (acid, concentrated bleach, mercury…)
    • Pesticides, hazardous chemical fertilizers
  • Medicines and biological materials
    • Large quantities of medicines without prescription
    • Infectious biological products (untreated blood, medical samples…)
  • Products subject to strict customs regulations
    • Alcohol beyond authorized quantities
    • Tobacco and cigarettes beyond the legal limit
    • Non-compliant perishable food (meat, unpasteurized milk, fresh cheese…)
    • Electronics & batteries
      • Non-compliant lithium batteries or high capacity (> 100 Wh in hold)
      • Hoverboards, electric scooters, e-bikes with battery not removed
    • Animals and plants
      • Live animals (except authorized and declared transport)
